AKRAPOVIC SLIP-ON EXHAUST SYSTEM for the HONDA TRX 450 (2004) This base-level tuning system goes exceptionally well with the Honda ATV. The Akrapovic SLIP-ON is available in two versions, with an approved spark arrester for the US market and an FIM 94 dB noise damper for the EU market. PERFORMANCE Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the HONDA TRX 450 (without noise damper or spark arrester):Power: despite being a base-level component, the performance increase is more than satisfactory. It is evident mainly in the middle and lower end of the rpm range, while in the overrev range the Akrapovic curve matches the stock curve.Torque: the increase in torque is identical to the power increase. There is a substantial increase in the middle and low end, which together with the power curve means that there will be plenty of pull without having to wind the engine out at the top of the range.
